Booking & paying

Once you've requested a quote, we'll send you an offer (usually within one workday). If this is to your satisfaction, we can send you a contract via e-mail. Once we receive the signed contract, your booking will be finalized. We accept contracts via post, fax or e-mail.

Rental prices include 6% VAT, harbour and tourist tax and fuel for max. 1 hour sailing on the motor per day. We expect most of the sailing to be done using the sails. In case it's necessary to utulize the motor (for example, to reach a certain destination), a fuel charge of €30 applies per extra hour of motortime, to be paid on board. 

Holland Sail does not charge reservervation fees.

There's a three-installment payment plan for booking a year ahead, consisting of:

• 10% of the rent within 14 days after confimation of the contract
• 40% of the rent at the 1st of january
• 50% of the rent 6 weeks before the day of departure

When you book a sailing ship for the present year, a two-installment plan applies:

• 50% of the rent within 14 days after confimation of the contract
• 50% of the rent 6 weeks before the day of departure

Holland Sail is not an insurance firm. We offer several insurances from a third party, such as cancellation and travel insurance, as a service. Read more about insurances.
