The Lauwerszee: A Wide 'Klipper' for Comfortable Sailing
The Lauwerszee is a wide 'klipper' with an easy-to-handle rig, making it a simple ship to sail. Its wide beam not only provides plenty of space but also offers excellent stability on the water so you won’t have to worry about seasickness. Thanks to a few modifications, the ship can even be sailed with a relatively small crew. For active sailors, however, there’s plenty to do, and the extra sails are often put to use.
Cozy Saloon and Well-Equipped Kitchen
At the front of the ship, you'll find a cozy and spacious saloon with plenty of seating. The saloon leads into a large and well-equipped open kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and a 6-burner gas stove with a large electric oven.
Comfortable Cabins and Sanitary Facilities on the Lauwerszee
The Lauwerszee offers twenty beds spread over seven cabins. All beds are fully made up with duvets. There are three 4-person cabins and four 2-person cabins. All cabins are equipped with central heating, running water, and a sink. The ship has one spacious bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, one bathroom with a shower and sink, and one separate toilet room.
