Together with the skippers Niels and Renee, you’ll experience what a large sailing ship can do. They’ll take you to the most beautiful spots on the IJsselmeer and the West-Frisian Islands.
Don’t worry; there’s no need for any prior sailing experience in order to enjoy sailing with them. The crew is specialized in giving you a crash course. Soon, you’ll help hoisting the main sail and the additional sails, steering the ship or using the charts to navigate. The Bontekoe is a large, swift and welcoming two-mast 'klipper' on which everyone will feel right at home. Even if you’re not that wild about pulling on the ropes, there’s always a nice spot for you to sit down on deck and watch other people do the work or spend some time socializing below deck.
The Bontekoe is a family business so the crew are always the same people.
