The Ortolan was built as a sailing ship in 1897 in Sliedrecht, near Rotterdam, originally without a motor. You can still see the beautiful lines of the ship today. Of course, it’s motorized now, but we still prefer to hoist the sails!
Multi-Day Trips
The cabins offer comfortable accommodation for 26 guests, each with its own private bathroom and wardrobe! Every bed is equipped with its own reading light and power outlet. The lounge area invites relaxation or provides space for group activities. In addition to a bar, the lounge also features a small ship's library and a well-stocked collection of games for both young and old. Our small but practical galley is fully equipped with everything you need to cook for a group! The Ortolan strikes the perfect balance between adventurous ship life and a touch of luxury, so everyone can feel at home!
Day Trips
For day trips, the Ortolan can accommodate up to 45 people, making the sailing experience an adventure. The ship is built with great attention to detail, both inside and out. The Ortolan is well-equipped with a spacious salon, a bar with tap and sink, and a well-equipped small galley. All of this ensures an unforgettable time aboard.
