The Morgana is an atmospheric three-masted schooner for anyone who wants to do more than simply see the Wadden Sea – but truly experience it, while enjoying comfort and personal attention on board.
Let the ship settle on the seabed at low tide and walk across the mudflats, discover one of the Wadden Islands or spend the night at anchor in the heart of the Wadden Sea: skipper Aart has been sailing this UNESCO World Heritage Site for more than 20 years and knows the area like the back of his hand.
Once on board, you’ll be surprised by just how much space there is. The Morgana is an exceptionally spacious ship with plenty of headroom, a cosy saloon, a generous seating area on deck and comfortable cabins. And if you would like to be looked after when it comes to food as well, simply leave the cooking to Nikki. Using fresh ingredients, she prepares a varied selection of delicious dishes.
Plenty of space to enjoy together
The spacious saloon offers plenty of headroom and has a warm, cosy atmosphere. Four seating areas with benches and chairs provide ample space to enjoy meals together, look back on the day or spend a long evening in good company. A small bar and a separate drinks fridge ensure that everything is within easy reach for a sociable evening on board.
There is also plenty of space to relax outdoors. The generous deck seating area, with tables, chairs and benches, is the perfect place for breakfast in the fresh air, a meal together or a relaxing drink after a day of sailing. And when tranquillity slowly settles over the Wadden Sea in the evening, it is the perfect place to end the day.
The seating area can also be covered with a canopy for protection from both sun and rain.
Comfortable cabins
The Morgana has seven 2-person cabins and four 4-person cabins. The cabins are spacious with plenty of headroom and each features its own washbasin, storage space, porthole, reading lights, individually adjustable heating, 230-V power sockets and mechanical ventilation. In the 2-person cabins, a fixed ladder provides access to the upper berth.
When you arrive, the beds are already fully made up, including duvets. A towel is also provided for every guest. Different conditions apply to youth groups.
The bathroom facilities also offer plenty of comfort: on board there are three separate, spacious shower rooms with thermostatic taps, as well as three separate toilet rooms, each with a wall-mounted toilet and small washbasin.

“Table Sauvage” represents Nikki’s own unique style of cooking: fresh, creative and full of surprises – without a fixed menu and a little different every day. Nikki cooks on board herself, using fresh ingredients to prepare generous and delicious meals. There is no standard menu that is repeated trip after trip. Instead, she comes up with something new each time. Every meal has its own character – that’s “Nikki’s Table Sauvage”.
It’s not just about good food, but above all about enjoying it together. Sitting around the table after a day on the water, sharing stories and discovering what Nikki has prepared – it’s all part of the experience aboard the Morgana.

Traditional sailing with modern-day comfort
The Morgana combines the special atmosphere of a traditional sailing ship with modern amenities that make a multi-day stay especially comfortable. On board you’ll find Wi-Fi, a Smart TV with streaming options and a JBL PartyBox with Bluetooth.
The spacious galley is also fully equipped, including a large cooker, oven, dishwasher and generous fridge and freezer capacity.
And of course, above all, the Morgana remains a true sailing ship. If you like to get involved, you are more than welcome to lend a hand while sailing. All of the Morgana’s sails are still set by hand in the traditional way.
