'Klipper' Strijd has been fully renovated
In the winter of 2012, the Strijd underwent an almost complete renovation, allowing you to enjoy this beautiful 'klipper' in comfort for many years to come. In the winter of 2018/2019, the cabins were renovated, and the drinking water tank was replaced. On the spacious aft deck, there is plenty of space for anyone who wants to participate in sailing and navigating. Captain Klaasjan is excited to teach you essential sailing techniques during your sailing vacation. The half-covered cockpit at the entrance to the guest quarters offers a pleasant shelter during the day for those who want to relax, enjoy a drink with fellow sailors, or simply bask in the moment, sheltered from the wind.
Facilities on board the Strijd
We want to make sure you have everything you need aboard. Below deck, you'll find the spacious and comfortable guest area with a fully equipped open kitchen. If there are any specific facilities you're missing, we can arrange them in consultation with Captain Klaasjan. Think of presentation materials such as a TV/DVD, beer tap, karaoke set, or decorations for a special event. Standard aboard the Strijd, you'll find a radio/DVD player, 6-burner gas stove, coffee machine, kitchen mixer, large oven, freezer, and an outdoor BBQ. Below deck, the spacious and cozy guest area features an open kitchen, and in the evenings, you can relax on the comfortable couches.
