We are Katja and Axel and have been the proud owners and skippers of the Vertrouwen since 2002. We love nature and enjoy being out in the fresh air. Preferably sailing or hiking. Our profession is our passion and we are happy to share it with you. As a guest on board the Vertrouwen, you will benefit from our many years of experience, visible enthusiasm and a fast and well-maintained ship.

As ambassadors of the Wadden Sea, we are happy to inspire you with the special features of this fantastic nature reserve with its beautiful islands, kilometres of sandy beaches, cosy little towns and its rich cultural history.
Comfort and space to feel at home
With a lot of love and an eye for detail, we have given the interior a new shape to ensure you have a very comfortable stay.
Below deck, the first thing that impresses is the large saloon with tap and the spacious, professionally equipped kitchen, where both professionals and ambitious amateur chefs can feel at home. In two of the spacious cabins, space has been deliberately created for the comfort of double beds instead of bunk beds. The large 4-person cabin also has double beds, ideal for children or as a private room for families. Duvets are part of the standard service on the Vertrouwen. Instead of several showers, the Vertrouwen has a beautiful, complete bathroom with mirror, large washbasin, towel radiator and shower cubicle.
Relax on deck of the Vertrouwen Harlingen
On deck you will find a hardwood sun deck with soft cushions and warm fleece blankets. So you can relax in comfort during your sailing trip.
With a draught of just 80 cm, the Vertrouwen is particularly suitable for sailing on the dynamic tidal waters of the Wadden Sea. While other ships are already moored on a sandbank, we continue to sail happily.
