What to bring & what not to bring along?

What should I pack?

We strongly recommend that you pack a bag of soft material instead of a (hard shell) suitcase. The luggage spaces on board can be quite narrow and fixed form cases might not fit.

During your sailing trip, there are a number of items that might come in handy:

  • Warm and waterproof clothing
  • Light clothes and bathing suits (in case it gets hot)
  • A cap or hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Sneakers and/or solid boots
  • Plastic sandals or water shoes, to walk on the sandbanks in the 'Waddenzee'
  • Books
  • Party games
  • Sleeping bag
  • Earplugs (in case you're noise sensitive)
Should I bring bedding?

All the beds are provided with mattress covers and a pillow with pillowcase by default. Some ships have covers included in the price, but most don't. In those cases you can bring your own, or request that we provide them for an extra charge. Read more about bedding

Should I bring towels?

Your trip doesn't include towels by default. You're allowed to bring your own, or, if you wish, we can provide lease towels for you at €5,- a piece.

Can I bring my pet on board?

Your pets are mostly prohibited on board. Some skippers make exceptions or have a pet of their own. If you wish to bring your pet, please inform us so we can discuss the possibilities with you and the skipper.
